Have you heard of Karajini – not many people have. When we were researching our trip Karajini
came up on so many must see lists, but I hadn’t heard about before. I understand that it featured recently in the
Australian so the word is getting around about this place. If you have heard about it, then every thing
you have heard is true. This is one of
the most amazing places we have been fortunate to visit on our trip. We stayed in a safari tent for 2 nights (as
it was actually RAINING when we arrived so couldn’t pitch our tent). If time had been on our side we could have
easily stayed longer there is so much to see in Karajini. I will say it is a very long way to get here
and there are one or two class 3 walks, the rest are class 4 and 5 and
deservedly so. We walked hard to get to
places here and we don’t regret one single step.
I could tell you about the layout of the park, the lengths
of the walks, the history, geology etc but if you are reading this you can look
all that up on the internet. This place
talks for itself and you don’t have to be a professional photographer when the
material is this drop dead gorgeous, so I will let our photos tell the tale (ok the slightly long tale as when I look at all our photos it is so hard to choose ones to put up this time).
Looks like an oasis, beautiful photos.
