Hi it’s us
Mr L and Mr C, this our second part of the blog.
Seaworld was
the second best theme park – Wet n Wild was best. The things we liked most about Seaworld were;
feeding the rays, viking revenge flume ride, the learning about things that
belong in the sea and the battle boats.
Ray Reef
At Ray Reef
we got to feed Rays, they felt slimeeee!
It was fun!!!
Penguin Point
Penguin
point was brilliant we got to see really cute teeny weeny fairy penguins
swimming in their own pool. It was so
cool to look at.
Seal Harbour
At Seal
harbour we got to see seals as they leaped up into the air. It was fun.
Shark Bay
Shark bay
was a large lagoon that you could see from the top and from underwater. At one time a shark was swimming straight
towards – we could see its fin. But when
we looked under the water we saw turtles, fish, rays and of course sharks, even
their faces.
The AWESOME Viking Revenge Flume
You got in a
pretend viking boat, you went around and up a pretend castle, then you have to
hold on to some bars in the boat then WOOOOOSSSSHHHHHH!!!!!! You go down a really steep slope and then
SPLASHSHSHSHSHSH into the water and you get splashed in the face with a giant
bullet of water and that was sooooo AWESOME.
It was so fun we did it 6 times.
Jet Stunt Extreme Show
We went to
the Jet Stunt Extreme Show and it was EEEPPPIIIICCC!!!!! We were sitting on seats in front of a huge
pool the size of a billabong. The huge
pool had steep ramps which our mum thought water skiers would use. But the jetskis did instead and it was
awesome. The jetskiers jumped high, did
great tricks, had races and there was a guy with a water jetpack which could
empty a swimming pool in 5 minutes it used so much water. There were also two guys with super powerful
jet skis who had stunt off competition.
There was a trick at the end with two boats that made a huge wave that
the jetskiers used to do triple 360 flips.
This show was AWEMAZING!!!!!!
Affinity Dolphin Show
We learnt
that people can train dolphins to do tricks and they earned fish for doing
them. At the show they leapt out of the
water and did triple 360 flips. The
dolphins knew what tricks to do because the people had taught the dophins sign
language. We thing dolphins have a
magnificent brain and THEY ROCK!!!!!!!
Castaway Bay – Battle Boats
You went on
these big boats with water cannons that you had to pump to make them shoot
water. You had to shoot water at enemies
on the shore who also had water cannons and they had protection behind walls. The boats went on an underwater track so it
looked like they were sailing. The first
time the whole family went on a battle boat and we got totally soaked (although
the lady said we wouldn’t get that wet).
Then Mum and Dad went onto the shore and Mr L and Mr C went on a battle
boat and went around twice. We had great battles and sprayed everybody in the
face. At the end we were dripping so we
had to use a human dryer which got rid of some of the water, but we were all still
wet when we got back to the car.
Castaway Bay - Sky Fortress
There was
this thing called a Sky Fortress. It was
EPIC. The Sky Fortress is a great
activity at Seaworld which was next to the battle boats. It came up to the top of the sky with a great
view of the whole gold coast. There were
all these ropes that you can climb all over and it was great fun. There were 8 points and we found them
all. It was excellently great!!!!
Wet n Wild
Part 3 of
our blog is on Wet n Wild – there are no photos because it was soaking wet. Wet n Wild was the best of all theme
parks. This is because we watched Dad go
down the Aqua Tube – on the first part you just fall and you can get up to 70
kilometres per hour. It looked totally
freaky but awesome. Some people got to
the top of the ride and then had a check out and didn’t do it.
We had a
great time and the best ride was Mammoth Falls where the whole family rode on a
raft down a huge waterslide. We did it
four times – everytime someone had to go backwards on the raft. We also liked the 8 sliding competition we
did it three times and we each won a race.
The wave pool was awesome but we all really enjoyed soaking in the hot
tubs.
Hey Mr L & Mr C!! How good is that gear?!?!?!?! Looks like you're having a fan-dang-o time! Sally & I were down at Merry Beach last week & we saw rays too. The BIG one was about 1.5 meters across at the wings. Trust me - we didn't get close enough to find out if he was slimy . . . . Keep sending the stories through!!
